PEWSEY: The Marlborough and Pewsey neighbourhood police team are investigating a robbery near Pewsey railway station.
On Sunday (November 2), shortly after 6.00pm, a local man was robbed as he walked home from the station along the alleyway which heads towards Wilcot Road, Pewsey and the ‘Best One’ newsagents & off-license shop.
The male robber was described as being under five-and-a-half feet tall, broad and wearing a black hooded top. After stealing an Apple ‘i’ phone from the man as he lay on the ground, the assailant ran off towards Wilcot Road

MARLBOROUGH: Apart from the robbery at Ducklings toyshop in Hilliers Yard, an assault on police officer and the arrest of a man on suspicion intending to supply Class A drugs, police have reported a spate of thefts in the area in the week beginning Tuesday, October 28.
A Land Rover has been stolen from River Park. Money has been stolen from a luton van while it was parked in Marlborough High Street. Various healthcare items have been stolen from an outbuilding at Hackpen. There was an unsuccessful attempt to break into a house in Back Lane. And items were stolen during a burglary at a house in Kingsbury Street.
