Wiltshire police are investigating a burglary at a house in Aldbourne on Tuesday (October 29). They are appealing for information from the public.
They believe the house in Crooked Corner was targeted between 3.30pm and 4.30pm – a window at the side of the house was smashed and the offenders gained entry to a dining room where a number of items were stolen. Detective Constable Cerys Powell said: “Although we are at the early stages of our investigation, we believe that this burglary may be linked to a similar burglary in Upavon yesterday, and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the Aldbourne area during these times.”
“Understandably, the homeowners are upset and distressed by this incident.”
Police are asking people who have seen suspicious activity or have unusually been offered items to buy, to call them on 101. They should quote crime reference number 54190108055.
