Neighbourhood Plan: three parishes join with Marlborough

The lengthy process of putting in place a Neighbourhood Plan for Marlborough has taken a major step forward with agreement on the area it will cover.

Three parishes – Mildenhall, Savernake and Preshute – have now confirmed they will join in and be part of the ‘designated area’ for the Neighbourhood Plan.

As Marlborough Town Council is the qualifying organisation overseeing the plan, the newly agreed area will go to the next full council meeting (November 2) to be ratified.

The working party have a project plan in place and they will have their website up and active in the New Year.
