The next meeting of the Marlborough Area Board on Tuesday, May 20 in the Town Hall will hear the make-up of the Marlborough Community Operations Board (COB) which is charged with drawing up plans for the Marlborough Campus.
Wiltshire Council’s multi-million pound ‘Campus Policy’ seeks to make better use of the Council’s properties and in doing so to give the centre of each Community Area a new focus for its services and community activities. The Marlborough Area will be one of the last to embark on a campus scheme.
Corsham’s Springfield Campus will be finished by the end of this year. The new-build part of the Campus will be opened in the summer and the new all-weather hockey pitch is already in use.
The Area Board’s meeting will also hear what Wiltshire Council’s new housing allocation policy will mean for the area.
The meeting will start at 7.00pm – with doors open and coffee etc from 6.30pm.
