All care homes in Wiltshire and Swindon on the MyParentCare website now have the Care Quality Commission (CQC) Widget. This means you can get real time information giving the official summary verdict on the quality of each care home.
All you have to do is to find the home (those in Wiltshire are listed by their towns), click on the CQC link and up comes the latest official verdict on the home.
For each home it will say that with “Our latest checks” the home either merits the verdict “This service was meeting all CQC national standards”, or it will say “This service was not meeting all CQC national standards and we required improvements.”
When last checked the site recorded that sixteen homes in Wiltshire and ten in Swindon do not currently meet all CQC standards – and action is being taken against one home in Wiltshire.
Also when last checked, six care-at-home services in Wiltshire and two in Swindon do not meet CQC standards – and action is being taken against one of these services in Swindon.
