The Kennet and Avon Medical Practice’s Patient Participation Group (PPG) have announced that Mr Kelly Osadolor, Clinical Pharmacist has recently joined the practice team.
Kelly brings with him not only a vast knowledge of medication, but he is also a trained prescriber and so is able to issue medication as well as make changes to dosage, strength, etc of current medication. In addition, Kelly has a special interest in respiratory health and is continuing to develop his skills in acute medication, cardiovascular and endocrinology.
Any Kennet and Avon Medical Practice (KAMP) patient requiring a medication review will now routinely be booked in with Kelly and not with a GP. Appointments will be available at both Marlborough and Pewsey surgeries each weekday.
All patients on repeat medication are required to have an annual review appointment, during which all their medications will be discussed to ensure they are being taken correctly, that they are having the desired impact and that they are still required.
The PPG encourages all patients to ensure they are aware of their medication review date.
