Councillor Chris Humphries who was given an official reprimand for mistreating a member of Wiltshire Council staff, has been suspended from the Council’s Conservative group. Last month he was found guilty of eleven breaches of the Council’s code of conduct.
He has now been suspended from the party’s group for three months and must take a course in ‘officer relationship training’ before he can be reinstated.
In October complaints against Councillor Humphries – who represents Aldbourne and Ramsbury – were brought before the Standards Committee. He denied bullying and harassing Julia Densham, then the manager of the Marlborough Area Board of which he is chairman.
He was found to have breached the Council’s code of conduct and was reprimanded.
