A coffee morning organised by the Friends of Chilton Foliat Primary School, held last Friday (September 28), raised £175 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Year 6 pupils helped to serve tea, coffee and cake at the event which was part of Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning initiative.
Rachel Gear, chair of the Friends of Chilton Foliat Primary School said: “We really enjoyed doing our bit for this year’s Coffee Morning. It was great to get people together over a coffee and a cake while raising money for Macmillan to help people living with cancer. I want to thank everyone who supported and helped to make it a success.”
Another coffee morning and craft fair to raise fund for Macmillan will be held in Marlborough Town Hall on Sunday October 7, from 9.30 to 3.30.
