Marlborough Town Council is considering entering next year’s RHS Britain in Bloom competition in the South West Region following a report from town clerk Shelley Parker declaring that the council is “well placed” to meet two of the three main themes the competition demands.
“If members would like to take this forward then a committee of volunteers will need to be set up, which will work with the Town Council and its grounds team,” she told the Amenities and Open Spaces Committee.
