Police are appealing for witnesses after a house on Manor Road, Baydon, was broken in to on Tuesday (26 July) and some jewellery and a car was stolen from the property.
The incident happened sometime between 10pm on Tuesday evening and 9am on Wednesday.
The offender(s) took the items and made off in the owner’s BMW convertible which was discovered, undamaged, in Chiseldon later on the Wednesday.
If anyone saw or heard anything suspicious in these areas or saw a convertible being driven between these villages during this time, please call police on 101.
