At the Marlborough Area Board’s meeting last Tuesday (May 17) its four unitary councillors voted amongst themselves on changes to its leadership.
Councillor Jemima Milton stood down as chair of the Board. She will not be standing in next year’s unitary elections as she no longer lives in Wiltshire.
Councillor James Sheppard becomes chairman. And his role as chair of the Community Area Transport Group has gone to Jemima Milton.
Councillor Nick Fogg becomes Deputy Chairman of the Board and Councillor Stewart Dobson is the representative on the Local Youth Network.
