The meeting of the Marlborough Area Board on Tuesday, July 21, will have a much shortened agenda.
The meeting at the Town Hall will start at 5.30pm and consider four applications for grants – there will be no other substantive business. There will, however, be time for questions from the floor.
The four applications for grants are: The Merchant’s House – ÂŁ5,000 towards research, conservation and restoration of a second floor bedchamber.
Friends of Aldbourne Band – ÂŁ999.99 towards a new drum kit and accessories for the youth training band.
Friends of Broad Hinton School – ÂŁ4,250 towards resurfacing the school’s outdoor learning area with a hard wearing rubber safety surface.
Aldbourne Pre-school – ÂŁ1,013 towards the renovation of the pre-school’s hardwood floor.
All four applications meet the criteria laid down for Area Board grants, but they may not all be agreed in full.
