A touching note of thanks appeared pinned to the railings outside the RSPCA shop in Marlborough High Street over last weekend (Sat 2 April).
It was from William Titmuss, dedicated to those who valliantly tried to save the life of his wife Valerie, who sadly passed away soon after her collapse on Tuesday of last week (30 March) despite the efforts of the passers by and emergency services personnel who attended the scene.
