I congratulate you on your balanced, insightful and extremely readable article. You shine a revealing light upon the sometimes obscure workings of local democracy.

I feel sure that, like me, your readers will be interested to learn that it is not only councillors, but also members of the public, charities, and also former councillors who are able to contribute to and influence proceedings.

I look forward very much to reading your further reports concerning the splendid Stonebridge Wild River Reserve, a remarkable amenity in our town.
