Sirs,
It’s not only ducks, until recently there were always coots and moorhens on the river in Marlborough and raising young every year.
The idea of otters killing ducks in the centre of Marlborough is laughable.
Cooper’s Meadow is full of families, school children, bikes and dogs. Have ultra-shy otters suddenly become sociable and tame? Their main food is fish and the fish, along with the ducks, have disappeared from our river.
