Sirs
As founders of Wiltshire education charity jole rider, we spent our first week in Africa in just the sort of family home where the Mayor, Alexander Kirk Wilson, found himself: noisy, boisterous, where everyone shakes hands, smiles and greets one another.
Gunjur is very special and so are its people. If anyone would like to experience their unique warmth and make a life-changing the trip out there, we would be delighted to hear from them on 0870 609 2007.
The 10,000th bicycle that jole rider has delivered to schools in The Gambia was recently handed over, in the centre of Gunjur, meaning one fewer child will have to walk miles, in searing heat, to get their education. Next month we will ship another 400 bikes, together with a large number of books for school libraries.
If anyone would like to take part in this Container Loading, on Wednesday 30 May at Hullavington Airfield, we would welcome them getting in touch.
Yours faithfully
Helen King and David Swettenham
