Sirs,
May I be permitted to trespass upon your good offices to bring to your readers’ attention the name Edward Grundy? This individual has been reported frequently over many years (by the BBC, no less) as being involved in various varieties of rural malfeasance. It is not my intention to impugn the character of Mr Grundy, but I am sure you will agree that 14 missing geese are no joking matter.
Yours,
B. Ridge (M.A.)
