Sirs,
Local social media is abuzz about the recent mysterious disappearance of almost all the famous Upavon geese which have become a well known sight in and around the village. Rumours are rife about the coincidental timing of their exodus with Christmas!
Whereas once there were about fourteen, now there appear to be only three.
There are reports circulating of a dark coloured (possibly green) pick-up truck having driven onto a grass verge, around where the geese congregated and speculation abounds in Upavon that this may be in some way related to their disappearance.
Does anyone have a better idea as to where they are and / or what has happened to these important residents of Upavon?
It will be a tragedy if they don’t recover their numbers from this (possible?) crime and are already greatly missed!
