General Post Description
Oare Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff to work our Wraparound Care Club (8.00-8.45am/3.15-5.15pm) Monday to Friday.
We’d like someone who is able to support and look after children in a safe, secure, and fun environment.
Main Duties
- To provide a range of stimulating and creative activities
- Setting up activities ready for the start of wraparound care and tidying away afterwards
- Some movement of chairs and tables maybe necessary
- To care for children, offering an appropriate level of support and guidance
- To advise the Principal of any concerns e.g. over children, child protection, parents/carers or the safety of equipment
- To keep confidential any information regarding the children, their families or other staff
- To prepare and serve breakfast as appropriate
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Principal
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children is preferable
- The successful applicant will undergo safeguarding training and an enhanced DBS
