General Post Description:
Ogbourne Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff to work our Wraparound Care Club (07.45-08.45am/3.15-5.15pm) Monday to Friday.
We’d like someone who is able to support and look after children in a safe, secure, and fun environment.
Main Duties:
Club Assistant
- Setting up activities ready for the start of wraparound care and tidying away afterwards
- Some movement of chairs and tables maybe necessary
- To prepare and serve breakfast as appropriate
- Maintain paediatric first aid qualification
- To complete Educare safeguarding on-line training as directed by Excalibur Academies Trust
- To care for children, offering an appropriate level of support and guidance
- To advise the Head of School/DSL of any concerns e.g., over children, child protection, parents/carers, or the safety of equipment
- To keep confidential any information regarding the children, their families, or other staff
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Head of School
Club Leader:
- To plan and provide a range of stimulating and creative activities
- Ensure the profile of the club is maintained via the school newsletter
- To report finances termly to the Head of School
- To download booking registration via Bromcom
- To maintain on-line registers via Bromcom
- Maintain paediatric first aid qualification
- To complete Educare safeguarding on-line training as directed by Excalibur Academies Trust
- To care for children, offering an appropriate level of support and guidance
- To advise the Head of School/DSL of any concerns e.g. over children, child protection, parents/carers or the safety of equipment
- To keep confidential any information regarding the children, their families, or other staff
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Principal
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children is preferable
- The successful applicant will undergo safeguarding training and an enhanced DBS
