We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our exceptionally supportive and passionate SEND. Supporting the inclusion of students with special educational needs you will be required to work with small groups or individual students to enable learning, organise and maintain a learning environment.
The post includes planning for and teaching intervention groups and working with the outside professionals whilst monitoring, evaluating and recording student progress and developing reports, as directed. Current or prior experience of working with children in a learning environment is essential and excellent organisation skills are required.
The candidate should have or be working towards the HLTA qualification. The ideal candidate will have a good standard of written and spoken English, and Maths skills at a suitable level to support children up to Key Stage 4. An ambitious candidate looking to develop numeracy support capacity would be advantageous.
