Scale Point: 7 – 17 (FTE £20,444 – £24,920)

A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent IT Network Technician to work full time
with the dedicated and committed IT department here at St John’s.
The post holder will work with the Excalibur IT Team, sharing knowledge and best practices to
implement an evolving strategy for Excalibur’s IT vision. As an IT Network Technician there will be a large element of on-the-job training to build up IT support fundamentals.
The main duties will include assisting with the day to day running of IT systems throughout the
trust; end user support with incidents and requests via the IT Support Helpdesk; working face to
face with end users and a large array of hardware and software. They will also work with core IT
servers and systems like Active Directory and Group Policy as well as their more modern
equivalents Azure Active Directory and Endpoint Manager. You will be responsible to the Network
Manager and a detailed job description is attached.
