We have an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Estates team as a General Builder
You will support the Team Leader in ensuring the work of the team is carried out to a high standard for all appropriate repairs, maintenance and improvement in all College premises.
The ideal candidate will come from a multi-site background with experience of all types of general building work, groundwork, new and maintenance work to brickwork and blockwork, plasterwork and roofing. You will ensure safe and efficient use of all machinery, materials and tools used in connection with job role and follow safe working practices at all times. In addition, you will play an active role in the preparation and review of Estates Health and Safety risk assessments.
You may be required to work at height and in enclosed spaces. All safety equipment would be provided.
