If you go down to the woods on Thursday, May 28 expect to meet a life-sized bear.
Marlborough’s Corner House Children’s Centre is organising a free family event packed with activities based on the popular children’s book, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury.
Activities include outdoor play, den building, crafts, and a bear story hunt with a life-sized bear.
The event is aimed at families with children aged between 0 and 5 years, although older siblings are welcome.
It will be held at Postern Hill, Savernake Forest from 2pm until 3.30pm.
