The debut novel by Marlborough author Vanessa Lafaye has been nominated for a major award.
Set in 1935, Summertime – the story of the survivors of America’s strongest recorded hurricane – is nominated in the Newcomer of the Year competition, which is being run by the Reading Agency, an organisation that supports reading groups.
The winners will be unveiled on Saturday, June 20 – National Reading Group Day. Voting is open until Sunday, May 24 at http://readinggroups.org/news/nrgd
