Volunteer Open Day at The Merchant’s House

The Merchant’s House would like to invite all volunteers and potential volunteers to this introduction event on Wednesday 13th March, 10am – 3pm. This is a flexible day, so please come along at a time in the day that is convenient for you.

There will be tours at 11am and 2pm, to give our Guides more information about the building for the year ahead. You don’t have to take a tour, but please do plan your visit to take advantage of that.

We will explain how the self guided tours will work alongside guided tours, and any updates or changes to the building over winter. We will also give you updates on fire safety as part of our Health & Safety programme.

If you have any friends who might like to volunteer, please do let us know and bring them along.

New volunteers are very welcome, and there will be someone available to talk about the garden, historic house and shop roles. If you know of someone who is interested in a particular role, please let us know and we will make sure we have someone to speak to them.
