Royal Wootton Bassett Orchestra Christmas matinée concert for all the family

Royal Wootton Bassett Orchestra are holding their popular Christmas Concert on Sunday December 8th at 4pm in St. Bartholomew’s and All Saints Church, Royal Wootton Bassett. This year the orchestra will be joined by local choir, Baker’s Dozen.
The concert includes a mixture of Christmas classical, popular and traditional music and features a special musical narration of T’was the night before Christmas.
Refreshments, including mulled wine and mince pies will be served. Tickets are £10 for adults (under 16’s free) and are available through our website: http://www.rwbo.org.uk/
Baker’s Dozen is a friendly group of local singers from Royal Wootton Bassett and the surrounding area who love performing choral music spanning the centuries, including early polyphonic works, traditional folk and contemporary pieces.
RWB Orchestra was founded in 1982 and is now one of the longest established amateur orchestras in the area. We perform three concerts a year and a charity concert.
Looking ahead the orchestra will be performing an exciting programme entitled A Tale of 2 Cities with music from Vienna and Berlin and a R.Strauss horn concerto with soloist in Malmesbury Abbey on March 15, 2025.
