Paintings, Engravings and books by Richard Shirley Smith at The White Horse

The White Horse Bookshop and Galleryin Marlborough is holding an Exhibition of Richard Shirley Smiths’ Paintings, Engravings and Books from 9 – 30 September.

The Exhibition is open Mondays to Friday 9.30am-5pm and Sundays 11am-4pm.

‘This is an exhibition of paintings not recently seen and also of new ones. There was not much else to do during lockdown. Not being a dedicated follower of fashion, I haven’t contributed to mixed exhibitions but seem to have put on thirty solo shows over 60 years. They have usually been in the West End but also in Bath, Oxford, Durham, Harrow, Aldeburgh Festival and here in Marlborough.

The artist will be working and meeting in the Gallery on Thursdays and Saturdays from 2.30pm- 4.30pm
