The Watermill Theatre’s summer musical is Jesus Christ Superstar.
Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s rock opera spills out of the theatre into the gardens, immersing audiences into the heart of the musical with an ensemble cast of actor-musicians.
Seen through the eyes of Judas Iscariot, the story is told entirely through song and explores the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, his disciples, his follower
