“Educating Winston Churchill – Mission Impossible?” – A Marlborough History Society talk by David Lough

A talk by By David Lough, author of two books about Winston Churchill
The second, newly released, deals with his early life and relationship with his mother, and is drawn from correspondence between the two which throws a new light on this period.

The Marlborough History Society supports local history projects and presents talks by respected speakers on the third Thursday of every month (with the exception of June, July, August and December) at 7:30 p.m. at St Peter’s Church. We also organise occasional outings.
