Brilliant International Musicians at St Peters: Elena Topogonova (pianist) and Elisabeth Turmo (violinist)

The first concert of 2024 takes place at 7pm on Sunday 18th February at St Peter’s church.

It features the London-based Russian pianist, Elena Topogonova, and the Norwegian violinist, Elisabeth Turmo. Their programme includes works by Grieg and Rachmaninov as well as some lesser known composers, including pieces played on the Norwegian national instrument, the Hardanger fiddle.

It promises to be yet another evening of outstanding music in the intimate setting of our lovely church, so I do hope you will be able to join us. Please note that due to circumstances beyond control of the organisers it has been necessary to change the date of our March and May concerts.

Japanese pianist, Ikuko Inoguchi, will now be performing at 7pm on Sunday 10th March, and Ashok Gupta and Michael Gurevich will now be performing at 7pm on Sunday 26th May. Please adjust your diaries accordingly.

As a result of Marlborough College rescheduling their January concert to April 14th (the same day as the April concert). This may necessitate a further change, but nothing is sorted yet.
