No. 10 on the south side of the High Street and towards its eastern end, has been let to the gift retailers Huttons. The building used to house the Age of Elegance shop and has been undergoing restoration and some complex planning applications for several years.
Huttons – as the shop will be known – is an independent retailer which stocks gifts, fashion accessories, homewares, furniture and more. The firm was established in 1996, and has stores in London, Surrey, Marlow, Windsor and St. Albans. They also have an extensive internet shopping service.
They plan to open early in November.

The neighbouring shop, No. 11 the High Street, which in recent years has gone from off licence to charity shop, is now a new branch of the well-known up-market fashion chain Jigsaw.
