Or a ‘Dry January’ as someone commented(!) as The Merchant’s House shop opened its doors at 10am this morning (01 February) for the first time this year after a month closed for redecoration and stocktake.
As soon as the doors were opened shoppers came in to see the brighter decor and all the new lines, as the team had also taken the opportunity to restock, introduce some new lines, and improve the layout of the sales area which extends across three rooms.
Assistant Manager, Alison Radnege told marlborough.news that “we’re very pleased to be open again after a month off for decorating and stocktake, but the whole shop is now much brighter, with new stock and we’ve also added a sales table with some exciting and excellent value offers.”
The Merchants House shop will now be open six days a week – Monday – Saturday between 10am and 5pm.
