International cosmetics brand Bobbi Brown has opened a new store – its 13th freestanding outlet nationwide – in Marlborough.
The new shop opened today (Monday) at 121-122 High Street – formerly home to the East fashion chain – bringing what the company promised would be a chic New York loft style to the town centre, with industrial steel cabinetry and Carrara marble.
Dominating the store is a communal artistry table, where shoppers can try products and seek advice from a makeup artist.
The Estée Lauder-owned brand was launched by New York makeup artist Bobbi Brown in 1991. Today, the brand can be found in more than 60 countries, and while in-store concessions in Harrods, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser and John Lewis were used as a UK launchpad, the company is now opening freestanding outlets.
Quita Davis, general manager and VP of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics UK and Ireland said: ““The brand was drawn to the town’s elegant and unique charm, with its vibrant market high street and historical landmarks mirrored with a strong sense of community.
“The Studio will offer unique services from a strong in-house team of makeup artists. We are excited to bring Bobbi Brown’s Be Who You Are beauty philosophy with a touch a of New York chic to the area.”
