While broadcasters and Number 10 had no end of trouble agreeing a format for the national televised debates, politics students at St John’s School seem to have had far less trouble getting candidates from across the spectrum together.
Incumbent Claire Perry will join candidates Emma Dawnay (Green Party), Chris Watts of Labour, Manda Rigby of the Liberal Democrats and UKIPs Cllr David Pollit for a hustings event at Theatre on the Hill on Wednesday, April 15 from 7.30pm.
The event, which is free to attend, will be chaired by Keith Fryer, and is jointly organised by Marlborough Churches Together.
