David Ferris, chairman of Marlborough Seniors, noted it was Dick Lovett BMW Swindon fourth year as sponsor for the Club’s Seniors Open: “The record number of entrants bears testimony to their generous support and shows how popular our Seniors Open has become. Players came from as far afield as Hull and Peterborough.”
“We even had eighteen players from one club – Chipping Sodbury. Our Seniors Open is clearly a regular fixture in many players’ diaries.”
