Coinciding with the first anniversary of Rick Stein’s Marlborough restaurant opening, the new Rick Stein sponsored strip for the Marlborough Youth Football Club (MYFC) under 14 team was unveiled on the steps of the restaurant whilst the U9 team secured sponsorship for their new kit from Crown Water & Coffee with help from the internatioal coffee brand, Douwe Egbert.
“We’re really pleased to be able to support a community team and wish the boys the best of luck for the season ahead” said Stephane Malbranche General Manager of Rick Stein’s in Marlborough, whilst Keith Marshall, U14 Co-manager and coach added: ”The U14 management team are hugely grateful for this sponsorship, which means the boys have a stylish, functional and eye catching kit for at least the next two seasons. The lads absolutely love it!”
The MYFC Under 9s have recently been lucky enough to secure the sponsor ship of Newbury firm Crown Water & Coffee and with international coffee brand Douwe Egberts. Rupert Cox, Managing Dorector of Crown Water & Coffee said “Crown Water & Coffee are thrilled to be able to sponsor Marlborough Youth Football Club and to be backing local sport at the grassroots level. We hope that they have a successful and fun season.”
The Under 9s are Coached/Managed by Ben Danielsen, a Level 2 Qualified FA Coach with MYFC and a driving force behind the clubs continued success.
MYFC would like to thank both Rick Stein and Crown Water & Coffee together with Douwe Egberts for such generous support, and look forward to closer ties with them moving forward.
