Wiltshire's Town Mayors join Marlborough's Mayor Farrell to celebrate education in Marlborough over the years

Marlborough's Mayor Councillor Lisa Farrell hosted Mayors from many other Wiltshire Towns this morning (Sunday 24 June) at Marlborough'a Annual Civic Service, this year themed as a celebration of education in Marlborough.

Prior to the service held in St Mary's Church all of the Wiltshire Town Mayors gathered together on the Town Hall steps for a photo to mark the ocasion.

"It's to celebrate young people" said Mayor Lisa when explaining the theme for the service.  "It's a recognition of the transformation of education in Marlborough over the years, from early days until now." she added.
