Marlborough LitFest 2019: Thursday's the day tickets go on sale

The Marlborough LitFest 2019 committee (See below for names) The Marlborough LitFest 2019 committee (See below for names) This is a reminder to our readers that tickets for the tenth anniversary Marlborough LitFest go on sale later this week - on Thursday, 11 July 2019.

The LitFest Committee have brought together a programme featuring a large number of varied and high value authors and events - including a fascinating selection of the entertaining and the intriguing for the Children's LitFest.

Last year there were queues at the White Horse Bookshop early on the opening morning of ticket sales - lots of parents and grandparents keen to get the fast diminishing number of tickets for the David Walliams event.

Do not miss out on this year's feast of talent for children (Cressida Cowell (Knock Three Times), David Baddiel (Head Kid), Chris Riddell (The Cloud Horse Chronicles: Guardians of Magic) and many others.  And, of course, the many authors popular with adult ticket buyers - from Joanne Harris to Ben Okri, from Ian Rankin to Raynor Winn and from Mike Pitts to Robert Harris.

How to Book Tickets:
Online: www.marlboroughlitfest.org (no booking fee, postage charged at £1.75 if required)

Telephone: 0333 666 3366 Mon-Fri 9am-7pm, Sat 9am-5pm (through TicketSource £1.75 telephone booking fee applies, plus postage if required)

In person: at The White Horse Bookshop, Marlborough, Mon-Sat 9am-5.30pm, Sun 11am-4pm (cash or cheque only).

Festival brochures are now available at local libraries, The White Horse Bookshop, Marlborough, or to view online: www.marlboroughlitfest.org

The Marlborough LitFest committee want us to pass on their continued thanks to lead sponsor Brewin Dolphin and event sponsors Hiscox Insurance, William Golding Limited, Marlborough College, St Francis School, Marlborough.news and Hamilton Trust for their continued support, to the Festival as well The Arts Society Kennet & Swindon.

The committee photo - l to r:  Gill Macdonald, Jon Stock, Becky Tilley, Genevieve Clarke, Louise Tinker, Kate Fry, Kay Newman, Sir John Sykes, Virginia Reekie, Ben Tarring, Sarah Sharland.
