Saturday 18 May 2019, 11:00 - 17:00
Come and join Devizes for EU on a Walk for Europe from Marlborough to Devizes on Saturday 18 May. Our walk will be led by Simon Knighton of Aldbourne and will depart from the Outside Chance pub in Manton at 11.00am, arriving in Devizes at around 4.30pm. You can join us for the whole walk or part of it.  The route will show the best of British countryside and is suitable for most walkers - no bulls, few fences, and only the mildest weather!

Walk for Europe will be fun and will also serve a democratic purpose.  We will hand deliver a petition to Claire Perry’s constituency office in Devizes, explaining why we will be casting our vote for a party that unequivocally supports a People’s Vote in the European elections on 23 May.  Our petition will also assert that just as the people were asked to decide on the principle of departure from the EU, they should be allowed to vote on the actual terms by which the UK leaves the EU as well.

You can sign the petition and let us know if you plan to join us by visiting our website on www.devizesforeu.uk/events/walk4europe/ where you can also find a map of the route and suggestions for return by public transport.
Location Meet outside The Outside Chance in Manton, High Street, Marlborough, SN8 4HW
